Complex Export
Export PROTAC ternary complex (target–linker–E3 ligand) or individual component structures for publication, modeling, or further analysis. Visual PROTAC lets you load or assemble structures in the 3D viewer and download coordinates (PDB) or screenshots (PNG).
What you can export
PDB — 3D atomic coordinates of the full ternary complex or selected chains/components. Use in PyMOL, ChimeraX, or structural pipelines. PNG — Screenshot of the current 3D view for figures and presentations. For property reports (molecular weight, logP, TPSA of your warhead–linker–E3 design) use the PROTAC Molecular Weight tool and download its PDF; see Export formats for format details.
How to export
- Ternary Complex Assembly — Load a PDB (e.g. from RCSB) or assemble target–PROTAC–E3 components. Use the viewer sidebar to Download PDB for coordinates or Export PNG for the current view. Toggle chains or components to export the full complex or selected parts.
- Linker Conformation — Preview linker conformations in multi-frame mode. Export individual frames or take a PNG screenshot for presentations.
- Component Alignment — Upload your own complex or component PDB file. View and export the displayed structure as PDB or PNG from the viewer.
Formats and workflow
Structure export is PDB (coordinates) and PNG (screenshot). For PROTAC molecular weight and physicochemical properties (warhead, linker, E3), use PROTAC Molecular Weight and download the PDF report. For linker options and SMILES see Linker Library. Design context: PROTAC Design Principles, PROTAC Examples.
